MESSAGE FROM GERALD WOLFE

HOMEWORK

1. Have a great Thanksgiving!

2. For 11/28: Haydn - All

MESSAGE FROM THE VICE PRESIDENT

Hello Chorus!
I hope sectionals went well the other night! I was sorry to not be able to stick around for the entire evening.

Well, good news! Anne Mayer has agreed to be our interim attendance officer for the rest of the season, so thank you, Anne. Also, thanks go to Yve Parkes for transporting the attendance info to Jane this week.

Calender sales are still going well. I haven't received the official number sold from Wednesday night yet, but I'm sure that it was a good night. Don't forget to see if any of your friends or family are interested in buying any. If we can get others to buy them, it will shift the pressure from our own pocketbooks (and wallets).

Also, if anyone is interested in attending the Messiah Concert at Grace Episcopal Church in Cortland on Dec 2nd and selling tickets, contact me: bellamayophoto@hotmail.com . I can make sure you have tickets, a money box, and a little sign, so all you'd have to do is go, enjoy some great music, and sell a few tickets and maybe calendars.

Thanks also go to all of those who sold ads for the program. I have not received the official numbers, yet. I know we didn't reach last years number, but last year we sold far more ads than we had in the past. Maybe next year we'll be able to beat it. Thanks again. All of your efforts are very much appreciated.

Are you interested in being a board member, or do you have a friend who has great ideas for the group, and just needs a little nudge? We have an opening on the board. It is not an officer's position, so it is a very easy way to slide in and have a say in how the organization is run, what activities we do, and how we can impact the community. Meetings are quite fun, and take place on the third Tuesday of every month. We would love to have someone who might have some fresh ideas and perspective to keep the organization moving forward. You could be a new member, an old member, or anywhere in between. If you have any questions at all, feel free to contact me bellamayophoto@hotmail.com or 533-0075. Our next meeting is on Nov 27th, rescheduled for the holiday, and it would be great to have someone new there.

Also, don't forget that we do'nt have rehearsal this coming week, November 21st.

We do have rehearsal at Kendal on Nov 28th. The address is 2230 N Triphammer Rd, Ithaca, NY 14850 if you need to "mapquest" it. When you pull in to the entrance, take your first left, and loop around. There is a parking lot on the right after the first row of apartments. There is a nicely lit entrance. You walk in, take a left at the desk, and the room that we practice in is right next to the cafeteria. There is a coat room too.

If you need a ride, don't be afraid to ask. There are plenty of people coming from town who will be willing to carpool, I'm sure. Just send an email or give a call, and I'll arrange something. bellamayophoto@hotmail.com or 533-0075.

Tickets are coming soon! I hope to have them ready for you for the first rehearsal in December. Start your lists! As fun as rehearsal is, this is our chance to get our loved ones and friends and even acquaintences involved with the funnest part of all--the concert. We could still use someone to help at the ticket table with Sunny-- very easy stuff: just helping to maintain a little bit of order.

Thank you so much everyone! Have a fabulous Thanksgiving, and if you travel, be safe.
Be Well,
Stephanie Meyer
