MESSAGE FROM THE VICE PRESIDENT

Hello Everyone,

Thank you again for being patient in the chill of the sanctuary on Wed night! It did turn out to be a better venue for the reception, but it was quite chilly. I won't find out about the status of our normal practice space until early next week, but in the event that we will again be in the sanctuary, I will have more warning to get the heat on sooner. I will send out an email Tuesday.

It's time to start thinking about volunteering!

Ellen Harrison is seeking someone to be her snack partner. This is a very easy way to help out the chorus during rehearsal time. Basically, you would help Ellen to get out the tea and snacks, and then put them away at the end of the night. Having two people makes it easier, especially when one person needs to miss rehearsal.

Also, we will be having a voice workshop this semester. If you are interested in helping out in any way, contact Jon Meigs (joncm1@aol.com).

We will also be having a few openings on the Board of Directors this Spring. There is plenty of time to decide, but now would be a good time to think about whether or not you might be interested, or if you would like to nominate another member.

There will be other opportunities to volunteer as the season progresses, so keep your ears open. If you'd like to volunteer, and have something in particular in mind, feel free to contact me: bellamayophoto@hotmail.com

STILL MISSING 3 BLUE HAYDN SCORES

Although one more was returned this week, I'm still missing 3 of the blue Haydn Scores that we borrowed from Cornell. Even if you think you returned yours, could you take a look at home and see if it is hiding somewhere? One was found that way, so I'm hoping the rest will be too. If you find your score, please bring it to next week's rehearsal and/or email me at <cmf3@cornell.edu> and we can arrange how to get it to me.
